99% of the past these are the exact numbers come May 11 when they do the draw over at the Nevada draw company---

I am planning on drawing the San Juan archery Bull elk tag. It says there will be one tag for NR's. Does that mean it goes by Random Draw or Max points?

Not sure what report you guys read. N.R.s broke even or gained hunts for almost every species and weapon type. Except 2 moose and a bison, both of which populations are down over the last few years so makes sense. Even gained an archery elk and a few archery pronghorn permits.

My LE Deer choice has only 2 tags this year----ressy side of the house....
Options would be the LE Rifle for your LE Elk and use your bow....lot's better dates for sure and NO other hunters like in the LE Bow dates with bow buck and bow Spike/Cow.....

Getting a rifle tag and then using archery gear is appealing but Elk archery season is almost a month. How long is rifle? Rifle season dates are probably good rut dates but odds are harder to draw a tag? Right?
