I wanted to share some news regarding our operation. We have been granted a Forest Permit which will allow us to guide hunters on National Forest adjacent to all of our private land. This opens up miles and miles of new hunting ground that we can access directly from our private property. This gives us even more flexibility in the fall when we are chasing bugles!
I also wanted to thank Bowsite for all of the support we have received. This is a wonderful community full of great people.
Good luck to everyone this upcoming season!

I noticed that on your website the other day and was going to ask you about it. Should really expand your hunting operation. Really looking forward to hunting with you this fall and fellow Bowsiters.
I'm booked for the first week! Looking forward to seeing you soon Dan.
Hey Dan, good luck this season, September can't get here soon enough!!
Best regards, Scott Alberda
Great move Dan...have heard good things about you, your operation and your elk!
Mark
FYI: Dan has agreed to host a young Wounded Warrior, archery hunter this September and I will there filming the hunt. It will be the Warriors first elk hunt. We will do a special thread on the hunt on Bowsite. Most of the other hunters there that week will be Bowsite guys. More information coming soon. C
Photo attached is Clutch and me with his elk from last September!
Great way to show your appreciation with the Wounded Warrior hunt this fall Dan! Good luck this fall with the new land access as well.
Charlie, If you would be interested in handling the money it would be great to give this Wounded Warrior some extra gifts from the Bowsite community since there will be a few of them in camp that week.
Now I am excited! Sounds like I get to meet Charlie and a few others. So cool. Thanks for the referral Charlie.
I'm having an issue with flight to Montrose CO. is anyone driving nearby I could hitch a ride with maybe or even car pool along the way. Thought I'd fly then rent something to come back to North Dakota, and pick up my truck there, but car pooling would be more fun.
Awesome that you're doing a hunt for Wounded Warrior project... Thank you for supporting our military members! Can't wait to read about the hunt/see the footage
sureshot: We will have more to announce shortly about how we can help. Thx all! C
Who from bowsite going to Rockin R Sept 18th to 22nd?
Hockey -I will be sharing camp with u that week Looking forward to a good hunt and a good time
I will also be in camp starting the 18th... looking forward it!!!
Awesome... Should be a great time.
I know its 5 months away, but already excited (and been excited since I booked)
Charlie, You will probably enjoy this hunt more then any other. I have been on quite a few Wounded Warrior hunts with New York Bowhunters Camo To Camo program. It's an honor for me just to carry their luggage through the airport. Call me an old softy, but when I see the joy on their face when they get a critter down I start to cry... "God Bless Them" Ed.

I can't tell you how excited I am regarding the Wounded Warrior hunt. I will be personally guiding this hero and I am sure it will be the highlight of the fall. My other guides are chomping at the bit to be involved as well. Thank you for all of the positive responses. I can't wait to roll out more details surrounding this hunt.
Was just checking out your website. Looks like you have a really nice place. What is your guide to hunter ratio? Meaning 1/1 or 2/1? Also curious how many hunters you might have at once typically for archery? Finally how tough are your hunts, what kind of condition should the hunters be in?
