I moved out to Wyoming in 2009 for work. Being new to elk, mule deer and antelope hunting I tried to read as much information that I could find. That’s when I found Bowsite, I would lurk and read the forums on western hunting. I came west from MI. I have been bow hunting since I was 18, such a long time ago I will be 52 this year. Whitetails were it for me, sitting in a tree stand overlooking crops and waiting. I have taken some nice bucks with the bow. Out west is a different story, stalking, calling, setting up for elk. Now I don’t think I could go back to the way I hunted out east. Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong about sitting in a tree. I just like putting miles on my LPC’s (Leather personnel carriers!) I want to thank everyone who shares their information on elk, mule deer and antelope hunting. You guys are fantastic. The last two years I have taken two bulls, I don’t know if I could have done that without you sharing information. THANKS!

Western hunting has ruined me as well. I lost my fire for whitetails years ago and I live in the whitetail mecca, Iowa.
