I felt like a kid at Christmas yesterday! He turned out just the way I was hoping he would. Now I just need to figure out where I'm going to put him!

You think like I do! (Unfortunately I cannot get past step 1)!
Would you mind sharing the taxidermist and location?
THX for posting. I remember the story well. Awesome end to a OIL experience.
Great bull and taxi work! Congrats!
Ha ha thanks Z. I'll message you the info. I learned long ago that if you have a good taxidermist you are happy with its best not to tell everybody. He takes long enough the way it is! lol
Great mount 5575! Curious as to how long your wait is? I'm going on two years for mine.
Very, very nice. Looking at one picture, you have too many mounts in your garage and not enough in your house! Joking of course.
Congrats great looking Bull
I like the mount. Great looking bull. Congrats..........
Thanks guys, it was a two year wait as well. But I was in no hurry, just wanted it done right. No my wife has been more than understanding as far as mounts in the house believe me. My sons and I have 13 heads on the main floor alone! Its time to either finish the basement into a man cave. Or build a big shop in the back with a game room built into it I guess.
He's a beauty. Great bull and taxi work. Congrats!
That's a beautiful bull congrats, My favorite elk and moose meat and Buffalo.
Great work!! Nicely done!
Awesome bull and mount. Like the YZ as well!
Congrats on a great bull and a mount that does him justice. If I ever have another one done, it'll be a pedestal. Love the use of quakie leaves on the base!
Great mount and bull.
I have a form I'd like to have modified that is a Pedestal and looking at your mount I'm thinking a 45 degree turn converted into a Wall Mount may not be going to happen with a large racked bull.
My taxidermist has my Caribou from last September, and I'm a bit irritated it is not finished yet.
I took a couple with natural light today. He looks even better in it. Thanks again!
Fine work, and Wow, what a bull!
Truly a piece of fine art!
Best of Luck, Jeff
Great mount! I really like the pedestal mounts and having them down where can really appreciate all the details.
that's awesome congrats ,,,gib
Stunningly beautiful bull. Congratulations on such a wonderful animal.
That looks awesome! If I am lucky enough to get one someday I will definitely be doing something like that. Love it
Beauty bull and mount! Congrats.

Great looking bull and mount. Enjoy the countless hours and years of reminiscing that hunt.
It looks great! Congrats! I'm supposed to be getting my bull back from my taxidermist tomoro, super pumped!
wow, one of the best mounts I have ever seen. Love it.
It looks like it was worth the wait!Congrats
What a fabulous bull and a great piece of taxidermy work.! Congrats!!!
Thanks again everyone. But I want to thank all of you folks here on Bowsite that share so much knowledge about hunting these big majestic animals! I've learned so much over the years here and I want to thank you all. The live stories every fall from the woods is something I look forward to. Especially when I don't have a tag in my pack!
You what, built a big boat in your small basement! And now have to figure out how it get it out.
Nice.
My best, Paul
Awesome....congrats on having a great "problem!"
Mark
Great looking mount, looks like it was worth the wait. Congratulations.
Lenny
Awesome bull! What did he score?
Thanks! He goes a little over 360 gross.
Great bull! Congratulations.
There's definitely something special about the day you bring a critter home from the taxidermists. I've got a very nice Muley that will be ready to come home near the end of this month, then near the end of next month, my Mt. Goat and my desert bighorn ram will be ready. I can't wait for that day!
My taxidermist guarantees a six month turnaround, which I love. The tannery he uses gives him a 30-day turnaround on the tanning, which is why the wait is so short. I don't know if he gets such a short turnaround because of volume or because he's widely considered to be one of the top, if not thee top, taxidermists around. Perhaps both.
yea its nice! the only concern is will it fit through the door?
One hell of a bull! Congrats.
very nice great job to hunter ad taxidermist.
I just got his tooth age data back from the lab in Montana, he was 11 1/2 years old. Pretty remarkable!
Nice mount 5575 ! Congrats !

I'd vote for the big-azz building out back. You'll be adding new "toys" to your arsenal, too. :-)

Thanks guys Start my hunt here's the story. Truly was a hunt of a lifetime for me anyways. I had max points in WY and decided to go on my first guided elk hunt after years of doing it on our own. We went with Professional Hunting Services 307-752-0771, and my partner and I were sure glad we did!
