It's one of the best elk hunts in the state. 16A and D have some of the biggest elk in the state right now. These units are generally fairly easy to hunt. There are a decent amount of roads and not much in the way of hard to get to areas. I know a few guys already who drew this unit. Make sure you allow plenty of time for this hunt. It's a hard tag to get and you should have a good shot at a trophy bull. Jim

Good luck! I hunted that unit about 8 years ago while my biddy hunted 16D. He just drew 16D early hunt again!

16A is a pretty easy unit to hunt.
