This is a powered exoskeleton that the military is experimenting with. With this an average person could carry up to 650 pounds and run with it. You could strap a whole gutted elk on a backpack and pack it out with little effort. Remember how tough it is breathing above 10,000 ft? With this you could run up the mountain. Makes that trip in and out easier. Now you could carry in the kitchen sink.

......does it "cushion" the blow for you when that "650#" elk load falls on you running down the mountain ....or does it just call for help ? ;)

Gyro balanced, can't fall.

Years ago I hunted with two guys that could do that. One was a heavyweight class wrestler that went to state finals in high school and just got bigger in college. The other sued college football. I had shot a mule deer and they told me where they'd meet me. I had all four legs tied and could carry it a short ways. It was only about 150 pounds. When they got to me one of them picked the deer up an slung it over his shoulder like you would a daypack and headed down hill.

You can probably get one from China for $59.99.

In his prime I'm betting Aron Snyder could pack half an elk. He's still more beast than man!

I saw some half gorilla pack out two hind quarters and carrying the head and cape in his arms.

"Worthless unless it comes in kuiu camo."

That's the best comment I've seen on this website in a long time.

Izzit just me, or do things seem to be getting closer to Terminator every year? Nanotechnology, artificial intelligence, exosuits, what's next - bullets with internal target guidance systems?
