Yeah, don't mess with me. The force that it takes to break an antler is crazy. I watched a video of someone putting an elk antler in a hydraulic press once. Kind of scary when it finally broke.

I found a big antler broken between the G2 and G3. Never did see the bull it came from.
Another year we had a big 6x that was broken under the hide at the pedicle. It was dangling off to the side and flopping around so it must have just happened. We tried to kill him but never got a chance. The following season I found where it finally tore off, about a mile and a half away. Half the pedicle is still on the antler.

Jaq... I found one exactly as you described. The broken main beam was almost the size of a smart water bottle.
