have some early season whitetail pants, and core base layers.
I only elk hunt 1-2 weeks per year.
then I hunt the rest of the year IN Mississippi - temps range from 90 degrees to 20 degrees.
I am wanting a packable vest to take out west with me, as well as one for the long walk to the stand.
I like the looks of the Kelvin vest but it seems to more of a layering garment - reviews say that it is noisy and not very durable as an outer layer.
I also like the looks of the jet stream vest - but it only comes in optifade open country - I have my other garmets in optifade forest. plus the jet stream cost a good bit more, but who looks at that when buying Sitka ??
what are your thoughts?
any reviews or pointers?
Be careful though you may end up buying a whole lot more of the Elevated 11:))
But for whitetail hunting you need to be looking at Sitka's Whitetail lineup.
after returning a "stretch rain gear" suit to BPS for the third time figured I would annie up for better quality.
still got some rivers west rain gear that I can use as heavier outer wear
it seems a little loud to me. not sure I'm going to keep it.
actually am disappointed a little.
I can't find a stratus vest in optifade forest....
