Oh man...tough way to go is right . Statistically, the coyotes and/or wolves would have found him and started consuming prior to death.

Unfortunately our main stream media paints the animal kingdom as a "Disney movie" and a majority of the population believes it.

I've found a few whitetail does like that in the east. One of the hind legs just misses clearing the top wire and that's it. Very sad indeed! C

There should be a requirement to remove fences that are no longer being used. I find this type of thing all too often.

couldn't find the pics but I have also seen elk tied up in fences and ripped to shreds by the coyotes and your right it's a tough way to go!

Saw this while out in California hunting turkeys with trkyslyr and joehunter.

I spent six months in north eastern Utah back in '94. My aunt owned 15 acres and I found 2 deer and one elk wrapped up in the fence surrounding her property. I was only 14 at the time, and must have come across 12+ dead elk and deer while hiking around the area (locals said the preceding winter had been really bad), but those poor buggers stuck in the fence really sucked.
