Colo Unit 53 - Mendicant Ridge

We are considering hunting the Mendicant/Belmire Ridge-canyons next year for archery season. We have been hunting Unit 53 for a few years now, but Mendicant seems to be calling my name. It looks to me that the best way in is from 713, although it will be a 3-4 mile walk in.
Has anyone hunted that canyon for archery?
