For most of us elk season is over and like most of us were counting the days until elk season 2016. Here's a short video of the pics and little recovery footage we compiled from our backcountry trip to Colorado. This hunt was one joe and I will never forget and is my favorite hunt I've experienced yet including all species. Imo nothing better then an elk hunt. The work, the challenge, the drive required, and the chase of wapiti. When everything comes together the reward can be quite humbling and emotional. Hope you enjoy this.

It takes so much extra effort to get good video and photos but man it is worth it. My son Matt and I have some great hunts archived and it is solid gold. You will have these hunts forever preserved for generations to come. Well done and many more! C
