Yes they are. So is any wild animal. They deal with injuries that would have me laid up for a month screaming for pain killers. A bull moose I killed a couple years ago had the tip of a tine buried in his skull.

I've seen a harvested deer that had an antler stuck in its face and I own a deer head that has a broadhead sticking out of its face but this pic looks kind of photoshopped?
