Well, I guess it's now or never! Not getting any younger so if I start applying now for a decent WY unit I'll hopefully draw within 5 years???? (grin) This year would be great too!(grin)I have max points at 11 I think?
Who else is in for the WY draw, how many points do you have?

Have 8 pts. Going to try area 45 type 9 for next year. Last year guess it took about 7 Pts. Only hunted elk twice in CO. Shot 3x5 first year. So I'm very excited to give it another shot next year.
Checked the draw results look like 2015, 9 was max points, should be 10 in 2016, you should be in the drivers seat with 11} lucky you if you can convince the G&F

Actually it's 10 points! I looked it up & I show 9 but WY last tallied total points 7/6/15. I did buy the 10th point on 8/6/15 they haven't added that point yet? -- They're tricky! (grin)

I'll be applying for sure. General license and hoping to keep racking up points. I think I have 4 now. Hey I was thinking... 11+11+4 is 26 which averages out to just under 9 points each. I bet WE can draw a decent unit with that..... buddy. :-)
I'll bring the horses so we can do them justice and save you the pack out.
I'll be applying with 2 points. I finally came to the realisation that you can't play if you don't pay. I just wish I had listened to my friends 8 or 9 year's ago,,and started applying back then.
So going into the Wyoming draw with 2 points, it looks like I will be in Colorado chasing elk, for my first time, next year. BUT you just never know...a guy can get lucky.
10 is max for 2016.
5 years is is a long time. The guys that have been waiting for units with <10% odds like 30/31 will drop to other units, increasing the points needed for those units as well. Im at max minus 1 and lose a unit every year I wait.

I'll be applying with my son.We have 4 points
I have 7 points, and considering applying in 2016. I might wait on Wyo another year as I have plans starting to percolate for MT.
I'm with Elkhuntr.... 6 points here, have a Mt. Goat hunt lined up with Babine so it's apply next year :)
2 points, will just buy PP again.
I am one under max. No hurry to hunt WY just saving points to retirement in another 20 years.
Im also 1 under max, I will be spending them this year
