Do ALL NR reduced price cow/calf tags ever sell out? I mean all units, meaning Dec 15th are there always some left somewhere?
Thanks!

There were a few units that still had tags available in January this year.

Depends on the area. The closer areas with lots of hunters yes, the not so close or private access no.
What area are you Lookng at?

It is purely a by unit issue. In one of the units I have hunted the tags were gone within a couple minutes. Another unit took a few days.
If I want one I have the site open before the start up time.

It's easy enough to look at the draw odds to see what was available and then compare the detailed harvest report to see how many licenses ended up selling.

Most of the type 6 (reduced price cow) tags on the western side of the Bighorns go in the first draw. There can be a handful of type 4 (regular price cow) leftover but go quick in the first come first serve sale.
