Amazing sheds. What state?
Holy $#!&! I hope you find the bull those were attached to this fall! Beauties!
Holy Joseph and Mary Mother of God! What State?
Awesome! Now I'm embarrassed for getting excited when I found a lil bitty 300" match set the other day. Great find!
Awesome antlers....and a REALLY cool shirt!!!
Good gosh almighty wow Lewis
Any guess on a potential score? That's amazing
Wonder if he'll be bigger this year?
Something tells me that you already have your "Plan 'A'" area figured out!
Best of luck to you! Here's to you posting a pic with this year's antlers still attached.
Found them in New Mexico.
"What state?" has been asked a couple of times. Since he's from Texas, I'm guessing a high-fence ranch there.
No offense taken and no offense meant, but I wouldn't be caught dead on a high-fence elk ranch in Texas. :)
I guess I was speechless! AWESOME!
Gila? I was out in the Gila scouting the day before season opener, walking up mountain in moonlight and came across a single shed this size glowing in the moonlight. Looked for it's mate the rest of the hunt but never found it. Chased its owner, who was a magnificent 7X7, for several days but could never get a shot even though I got within 40 yards a couple of mornings.
Great find!
Wow, Awesome, Fantastic to name a few. Just curious public/private land?
Please put a tape to those if you haven't already and share the estimated score!
Congrats that is an awesome find! No squirrel nibbles either. Were they laying right next to each other? I found one big set of sheds, also in NM, and they were laying on top of each other. The critter has to be eager to fix the imbalance quick when that heavy.
And he's still alive.
Grats on the find.
Those sheds make you look like a midget. I assume you're not 4 feet tall and 90 pounds?
Here is my 6 year old with them.
Eh, weak 3rds
Now thats a gila monster. Lets see the score sheet, I got one day of horn hunting in the gila this year and found a decent 320" set. But good god that place gets pounded by all walks of life on horseback atv etc...
Great sheds but useless without coordinates!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL! Thanks for sharing.
Think of all the knife handles you could get out of those, good Lord!
Good lord - great find!!
Do you have an ideas about what you'll do with them...?
"Those sheds make you look like a midget. I assume you're not 4 feet tall and 90 pounds?"
LMAO!!
And you gotta be happy that the six year old got her "cute" from mom. Gotta love the smile. My kids love sheds too.
wow.
Mostly too big for knife handles or buttons.... belt buckles maybe... =D
I'd love to know an estimated score too. That's a toad.
Geeze wow! Heck of a bull!
Ive been to the gila many times and there are no bulls that big... ;)
Now if I could just settle the pin...not I would be peeing down my leg!

Those remind me a lot of these. They put an obscene spread with these sheds and scored it at 488", but yours look to have a little more length. Could they hit 500?? Looks like you could start a nice college fund for the little one!
Awesome find! I went out too early this year and the bulls still hadn't dropped. I did find this year-old set recently, but it's just a raggy compared to yours. Maybe I'll get lucky and find some during spring turkey next week? Congratulations!!
Where did you get the shirt?
Nice rack!
Wow. What sometimes blows my mind is how such big bulls can have such weak fronts. Cover up everything from the 3rds up and guess the score. Then cover up the 1sts 2nds and 3rds and guess it.
It seems like in some areas once the 4ths start growing like mad all of the growth takes place from there back and the fronts pretty much quit developing. Or is it just a genetic trait? Do you see bulls with good fronts in that area?
Either way damn! Every hunter's dream. Every shed hunter's dream too. Congrats!
Mule..Do you thing it has anything to do with moisture? For example if it was really dry in the spring but wet in late summer you'd possibly have a rack with weak fronts but a great back end?? Just a thought.
Found this one in Colorado the other day that I missed last year. Still looking for the other side.
About 155, plus at least another 13 broken off. Probably in the neighborhood or 370 - 380 bull, in tact. Pretty good for this area.
Just found another nice pair on a short walk. Still seeing lots of elk with headgear though.
Found a few more on another short walk from my house in a different direction. You'd think I would have found a match to one of those elk. They were all within about 1/4 mile of each other.
