What makes it a monster? All of the bulls I've killed or been a part of where pretty normal Bulls reacting like elk do. Never had an experience that scared me, or a bull that was out to get me.
Flipping through the channels tonight I saw a show about a "Monster Bull" that came in to a wallow, all 290" maybe 300".

Well if 300" is a monster bull, then I've got well over a dozen and you will have 100s of responses

I just giggled when I watched it. It was shot out of a tree stand, and if if was a whitetail it may have been the equivalent of a 120" 8 point.

LOL! Nice, but I automatically think of "scary" when I see "Monster". Just never been scared of an elk.

I missed one once that was incredibly huge. Haunts me to this day. Guess that makes him a monster.

They all seem to grow into monsters when the knives come out. I don't know about scary.... dread may be more like it....

Words like monster and giant are way over used on TV. Not to mention "hunt of a lifetime"
Ill certainly take one that size come fall.
I prefer GIANORMOUSE my self. :)

Can't recall seeing any monster bulls. I've seen a few that were big and even a couple of huge ones.

One time, yes at band camp, I seen a monster. He came in, snot and drool flaring from his nostrils every time he tried to catch his breath after making this god awful noise when he stretched his neck out. Ever since then I am very careful with my turkey calls as that encounter with the antler beast scared me.

I found this one on a general unit in southern Utah while scouting for deer. Haven't been able to draw a bull tag yet.

Or the prehistoric Irish elk might qualify. I've never seen them shoot one on a hunting show though.

They always look bigger in the pictures when you stand them up on a pedestal and long arm em.....
