Trail camera use with no trees?

So the area we are hunting this fall has wpvery few trees. Mostly short sage and a little mountain mahogany.
How can a person set up a camera for pics and still hope to hide or protect the camera from theft?
I thought a rock like camera would look cool but it would have to look like a natural rock to the area!
So large sage flats, few trails and water holes. How to focus in on animals?

Not to advertise, but I used this in Utah and also Wyoming...Clipped onto short Willow and such, plus your able to set the camera back a bit into whatever cover you use and just trim a bit...
Works well!

You could get the smaller T-Posts and drive them into the ground back in a bush close to the trunk/base. But the limbs moving in the wind is likely to give you a lot of animal empty shots

I've used the same clip for taking photos. I never considered using it on a trail cam. Good idea!
The clip works great & the guy that makes them is great to deal with as well. Super nice guy.
