Idaho unit 44 elk

I was fortunate and drew the NR Idaho unit 44 archery elk tag. If anyone is familiar with the unit and is willing to share information regardless how general I would appreciate the help.
I will be by myself so if someone has a tag and would like to share a camp I certainly would be open to discussing that option.

Good luck that is a great area. Contact the IDF&G and ask to speak to the biologist that works that area. 208-465-8465 They will give you a good starting point I am sure. They will also know what ranchers in the area are pissed off at the elk.....LOL.

huntnfish808 the unit is not behind hot springs ranch if I got the correct ranch location from google. It is north of Fairfield.
Mt. Man I did talk to IDF&G and they were helpful. I did not think to ask about problem ranches. Thanks for the idea.
