I thought all of you elk hunters would enjoy this video that I took this past weekend. Hopefully some of you will also learn all of the different sounds that elk like to make.
I was up at the ranch doing stand maintenance and clearing fallen aspens from the roads and came upon this big herd of elk. They were in a very talkative mood!
This video was taken on my iPhone so make sure you turn up your volume. You will also hear two 7 year old boys in the stand that were having a hard time keeping quiet. My guide's son also tried his best attempt at an elk call at the end of the video!

I have a ground blind right where this herd was talking. Here's one of the trail camera pics that was taken at the same time as the video. Calves are doing well.
