Looking to do some hiking in Colorado this year with my wife in late august. Does anyone have a recommendation on a light weight jacket for her. we will be hiking around Ouray and Silverton to about 12,000 ft. Hopefully doing a little scouting for elk also. Thanks for any suggestions. John

Camofire has these discounted quite often.

Amy old jacket should work, especially in August, we carry rain gear and make it dual purpose for rain and cold. REI carries some good stuff as well as camofire which is associated with Black Ovis that was mentioned.

Not in Co. anymore, but my wife prefers a 200wt flece vest with a shell in the pack.
