With my bow I have my first pin set at 30. On an elk I can shoot from 0 to 35 yds with just holding on the center sweet spot of an elk. From there they are set at 10 yds out.

20,30,40,50,60,70,80. In the past I've just started at 30 and that works really well too. Hold a couple of inches lower of at real close range.

20, 30, 40, 50, and 60 for me, mostly because it's easy to remember and the gaps aren't huge. The 60 is adjustable.

20, 45 and then it will adjust to 70. dont have to move sight on an elk out to 50 but farther i would want to make an adjustment. i checked my sight and it will only go to 99 yards so i guess i aint that awesome.

I have a slider with 2 pins. For elk l set the top at 30 and the bottom at 45. Beyond that I won't shoot unless I have time to range it, and then dial exact.
