Def thought he shot it in the back of the head, arrow was pretty loose tho

He missed. Watch in in HD. You can see the arrow bounce off the rocks, hit a bush and travel about 40 yards down the mountain. I expect that is why he is smiling.
No it didn't hit him in the head.

If you watch the video again, you will see that, what appears to look like an arrow shaft coming from his head, is actually just light on the top edge of his ear. Not the arrow.

Nothing better than eating deer fajitas while watching deer hunt videos on bowsite. Gets the blood a pumpin :~) Great video but unfortunate miss. He was a good buck.
