34A Scouting Help

Hey guys, I just moved out here temporarily from Georgia until the end of the year. I am living in Tubac so I plan on getting an OTC archery tag and hunting Unit 34A hard during the August hunt. I have been pouring over Google earth trying to find good looking places to hunt and have checked out a couple on the ground. I have seen whitetail does on both hiking trips that I have done around Bog Springs, but I would love to get a Mulie. My plan is to hunt the lower Madera and Sawmill Canyons. I keep hearing from people that the best way to learn is to get someone to teach you. If anyone hunts this area I would be very grateful to spend a day with you on a scouting trip. I don't want anyone's honey hole, just some Arizona deer hunting tactics like areas to target & what to look for. Lunch and a cold beer will be on me. Thanks guys & Good Luck this season. -Herman

You can kill a mule deer in LOTS of states, but those "whitetail" in only two. You should concentrate on the whitetail (Coues)!

Look in the low areas around Kentucky camp.
