My Friend's First Deer (Blacktail doe)

Just wanted to post a picture of my friend's first deer. He wanted to give bowhunting a try and he put in the time and got this blacktail doe here in western Oregon. He's hooked now! It was a fun morning teaching him how to cut her up.

Was he hunting from a tree, and shot it quartering away? The smile says it all....

Yes he shot it from a tree stand and she was quartering away. He was afraid it was a bad shot but she only made it about 50 yards. No blood, though.
