Agua Fria in Arizona

Anyone ever hunt the Agua Fria in Arizona? I've got a place to stay close by and was just wondering if it would be worth getting a tag for a January deer hunt. Of course I'd like to get a good one but would not be to picky on this hunt I'd be happy with any buck actually.

I'd be coming from Minnesota and just looking to extend my bow season a little more. Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks

I'd say you have as good a chance there as many other places. I've never hunted on what is now the monument. The key to this hunt is the timing in the rut. This will give you a decent opportunity to see some bucks. Do you know what unit you plan to try? Have you checked out the Game Department's Where to Hunt write up for that unit or others. That could give you a better idea what you might expect.
