Im with OTCWill, if I could hunt anywhere it would be front range colorado open space, I've seen more 200" deer inside city/county open space than anywhere else combined...

+ trublu on Open Space. The animals get habituated and people think all wild animals are tame like that.
The river bottom and ponds below my place are designated as such. Bears are coming down to ponds at dusk to look for dead trout. Last night it was like the drive-in movie there as all the "bear experts" sat around waiting for the show..
But my city and county bought two giant ranches to preserve them from development and keeps them as open space, and kept their promise to issue some limited hunting permits for deer, elk, and pronghorn.

The land owner for antelope island is called the State of Utah (so not private) and yes, you can contact them and buy the deer tag for about $300,000 depending who you would have to out bid. Would be a great bowhunt
