Last year I took this cactus buck(cryptorchidism). I'm in the same stand and the buck in the next post is around here.

It's cryptorchidism. Testicles either get damaged or never develop. The one last year didn't have a scrotum.

I was going to say, either the water or a fence with a bunch of nuts attached....

I saw a spike tonight that looks like he has the makings of the same thing. He has 10" spikes with trash on the bases. One base has a second three in tine sticking straight up and a base that's tennis ball size.

Here's a third buck from the same property. It will be interesting to see what he develops into.

Very strange. Several similarities in one area. Hard to link it all to testicular injury.
Hope your hunting district doesn't go by the name: Area 51...

It isn't an injury the testicles never fully develop and they don't have a scrotum. Where I hunt in oregon they have a similar situation with some bucks there. These have small tines sticking up all over their bases.
This is last years buck. Call him Bruce.

Dang! I'd hate to have to grow up as a deer on that property!

This showed up a mile from the other bucks. He's got knobby junk around his base and a weird right antler.
