Still carrying full velvet on 9-3

I was out this evening and saw three different buck I got a few photos of and each was carrying its full velvet but their summer coats are about gone.
I bet within just a few days they will look a lot different.

I've seen 5 good bucks this past week in SW Colorado and all but one was still in velvet. One was hard antlered and another's coat had completely changed to gray!
