148" his inside spread will kill his score. Maybe 11" inside, and his main bean looks short to be a true trophy. Let these type of bucks go two more years and they will make the trophy class.

That buck will never make 170... If someone shots him thinking that they will be very surprised when they put a tape on him. This buck my son killed only went 176.

I would say around 150"s. His spread is more than 11"s though without a doubt. Widest point he is at least 15-16"s. Shawn

His widest may be 18" but score is based on the inside spread of the main beam, which is significantly less than the outside spread.

I was fortunate enough to be able to get on this buck and put an arrow in him on September 2. I was able to put a tape to him to get his actual score. When I got these pictures I was guessing him to go around 150-155. But after putting a tape to him I was quite surprised! I came up with 168 7/8 gross and had him netting at 159 2/8.

Also his inside spread was 13 2/8 and had an out side spread of 19 7/8.

Do you have more harvest pictures of the buck at similar angles to the live pics?
I think that will help give perspective on the score, and help people learn to field judge.
