Hart mountain #3-almost here

Four more days and I'm off to Hart mountain!I had been holding out for another hunt,but even with 11 pref points it would have been many years before I drew that tag. I'be been to Hart mountain national antelope refuge 3 times before in the august hunt.I know there are some truly huge bucks there.The season runs November 1-7.My question is will this a rut hunt or a prerut hunt?

What state? my guess is prerut but close.

Close but Pre rut. Usually the rut is on really heavy aroung Thanksgiving. Could do some rattling though as bucks estabilish domination early. God bless and good hunting,. Steve

I agree with sixby. They rut 100 yards behind my house and while I have seen a few bucks around they aren't nosing any does yet. Last year was early by a cpl weeks but I'm not seeing it this year.
