The Kaibab deer herd overpopulated due to the lack of predators and no hunting (e.g. no population management), and hence not analogous to this situation.

We could also research the antelope tag levels in AZ, which have decreased from 1,474 '95 to 805 in '15 - a 45% reduction. Coyote predation is a significant contributor to the population decline that has driven the tag reduction.

I'm glad he got both.
