Does anyone know where to get any of the JDA naturals any more? I would like them in 2219 or 2117. I have not seen them for years, and always liked the way that they looked.

I too loved the JDA shafts and shot the grey shaft for several years. Haven't seen any for many years. Your best bet is probably e-bay and posting on archery sites. I'll look to see if I have any laying around.

I have a dozen 2117's full length and feather fletched. And a half dozen 2016's that my wife shot. Sorry, don't want to get rid of them though... :^)

I didn't know that they made them in 2217. They would work to if they are at least 31" long. I just think that they would look good with my graybark black widow.

I was lucky enough to bowhunt Antelope with Jim back in 1981. I mentioned I loved the look of his Naturals and 2 weeks after I got home, 3 dz were waiting for me one day. These were his original Naturals, I later purchased some of Easton remakes, close in color but not the same. I stored those 2117's because I used Ash for whitetails back then. I now have all of these Naturals fletched up and have been hunting with them the past few years. Great arrows.....but they are tough to find.

I know that they are tough to find, I have only seen two dz in my life. I'm only 26 so short span of time. My dad had 1 that were 2117, and a buddy that hunts with us had a dz 2219. Those are the only ones that I have seen.
I know that easton has come out with there platums, but they are too lite. It's one of there target lines. Wish that the would make them in a heaver size.

as far as I know EASTON always made the arrows for Jim D......they are very very close friends! We have Snakeskin JDA....that Jim designed also!.....they sent us about 20 dozen back then and they had 2 dozen fletched Hot Pink for the wife! Jim has signed a few of them for me in the past also and gave them to me! Jim is one of my hero's! ....DOUGHERTY....great guy and bowhunter and friend!

Those Serpent shafts were the coolest thing EVER. I wish I could find some of those now...even just one for my arrow display.

Jim did have them in 22-17 he had them made by Easton in different size's then standard Easton.Thinking of JIM DOURGHTY any one know were you can get his last book.Great writer very good bowhunter.

I killed a ton of African Game with them 2219s
I Had Jim Dip them in Flo Blaze Orange/red and I Fletched them with 4 Tink's Star flight 5 1/2" low profile vane 2 orange & two gold they looked like a fireball with 4 blaze orange & gold fletch spinning to the game

I've got several dozen of the Naturals, the Natural Camo, and the Serpents. Judd Cooney would give them to me from Jim. Shot them a lot in the 80's, and became a dealer for JDA in the early 90's. Had Jim autograph the Hoyt advertisement of the Hoyt Pro Force. Long riser, short limbs...

I've got 6 or 8, 2217's in my "retired" arrow box...loved em. I'm now shoothing 1 recurve &1 longbow @ 52 & 53lbs. They both really love 2117's, but a local old-school archery and gun shop had 15, 2016 naturals...brand spanking new. He had em for years...literally decades. I scarfed em up last summer...couldn't pass em up. But, they're a tad underspined for broadheads. They do shoot well with 100gr field tips, but I hunt with 175gr Grizzlies.
But the are purty with those 4", 4 fletch feathers...lol.

I have fourteen 2315's swaged with Zwicky broadheads and 5 inch blue/gray feathers. Cut 29" from nock to broadhead. Never been shot; been thinking about selling them. Just haven't got around to doing it.
