In talking with VaneTec, these are supposed to be their stiffest vane and reduce wind drift (.375" height) for a hunt out west this fall. I just ordered some of the 3" vanes to four fletch (steep right wing helical) for FBBH flight. Anybody have any experience (pros/cons) with them...broadhead control?.....adhesion to a wrap?....durability? Thank you.

They stick very well and will curl in the sun.

As a follow up, I tested VaneTec's 3" SS in a four fletch and their 2" HP in a three fletch....decided on the 2"HP in three fletch as they shot just as well and didn't drop off quite as much at long distance (80 yards +) practice...both provide excellent stabilization to shoot FbBH.

When applied with the VaneTec glue and the AZ Mini, they are welded on whether its 50 degrees, -25 or days on end of rain. Have never experienced any curling whatsoever.

As a result, I'm still shooting them 5+ years later with great results.

Hope this helps,

Mark
