What trail camera & how many pixels? Those are fantastic photos.
These are from home made sonys most are s600's 6 meg and P41's 4 meg She is back at the den again same mother as last year with the ring in her ear from being live trapped as a kit two years ago . they should be born any day now. These pics are from a sony w230 12 meg I think but not as good quality as the s600
Wow, interesting she still alive and came back to the same den... Would be curious to know if the same male, if he is still alive...
Years ago as a kid, my dad and I raised a few red/silver fox, and from what we read they are pretty much monogamist in the wild, mating for life in the sense if they both stay alive...
Looking forward to another season, thanx for sharing Bear....
Very cool Bear. Thanks for bringing it here again! Cool little predators.
She looks to be full of babys
And a cool moon in the background shot not the fox but this cat is chased off by the fox

Very nice pictures, so much better than the cheap commercial trail cameras.

This was my favorite thread last year. Thanks for keeping it going!
Awesome! Waas looking forward ot this one again Bear! The fox in my neighborhood has unfortunately not returned this year.
Beautiful pictures! Thanks for sharing.
Nice shots, thanks for sharing!
She had the pups I think the 16th she stayed down the hole for three days then came out after a 6 inch snow. after a few days I got a pic proving they are in there. They should show up when their eyes open in a few days
Fox are such neat animals. I have to admit that I had two in bow range last fall, came to full draw on one and chose not to shoot it. Based primarily on my enjoyment of the fox in my neighborhood and this thread. That combined with the fact that we don't have nearly as many as we used to. Now coyotes on the other hand....RIP.
Great stuff! Thanks for sharing.
great pics! thanks for showing....

Very nice pictures. The red fox is by far my favorite animal!
She moved them again this time I have not found them yet
Hey Bear - How far is she moving to these other den sites?
!50 yds between 1 and 2 I have not found #three yet but a possible is another 150 yds in the other direction
What do you think causes her to move the den? Disturbance?
Yeah, I'd guess it would be disturbance...
Red fox are known for moving dens and kinda surprised she didn't move after the cat episode, but have always been enthralled by the pix Bear got after retrieving trail-cam photos. Just figured she was a tolerant den mother....
I saw this guy in the back yard the other day. When he left he passed by my trail camera.
Not the only predator in the neighborhood though.
She moves them around on me I caught them back at den #2 last week again

I am the second story on Aug 31 show. They filmed for five hours and I was surprised how they got a little of everything they filmed. It turned out really good I thought.

Great job, thanks for sharing.
Bear,
1. depth of field is great.
2. is that an active RR track at the first den?
Very nice presentation...... Paul
Thanks everyone . It is 10 yds from the tracks. the second one is 40 yds off the tracks. just on the edge of town. I have a cam on the den waiting for the next batch. I might pull it until I see she moved back in last year it was the first part of March.

Love foxes, one of the only creatures I really don’t want to shoot.
