Seem to run a bit small for the type of fit I prefer in a rubber knee boot. JMO

Check out the Alpha-Burlys too! Just remodeled! I have both and slightly favor the Alpha-Burlys because they are sleeker fitting.

I love my Aplha Burly as well. Dwitt2n go to the home page and on the right side there is a link to a Aero boot review that I think Pat did. Looks like a good boot.

How comfortable are they to walk in for 3/4 of a mile?

Dave, I bought a pair and wore them up north last year. They held up very well, and as you well know if they can survive a hunt with JHA, they will survive any where. They are comfy to walk in and you can wear them all day. My feet stayed dry and warm the whole trip. As far as warmth, I'm not sure because as you know I was moving all the time. I would recommend them for active hunting, but I don't know about treestand hunting. See you on the tundra. Rory

Dave, don't order them by mail without trying a pair on. The sizing is kind of crazy. Rory

These are the ONLY rubber boot that I have ever been able to wear for any length of time. I have a high instep and most of them hurt my foot acroos the top after just a couple hours of sitting. I wear them trapping mostly but hunting some also.

I like mine and was surprised at how warm the 3.5mm thickness was. I was looking for the 7mm thickness but no one stocked them when I went shopping.

The aeroheads are the best boot I've ever worn. Had the alphaburly's, these are light years ahead.

Same Here...wore out a pair of Alpha Burleys and replaced them with the 3.5 Aeroheads. Very, Very Comfortable. I have a high instep and these boots fit like a champ. I also wear a 4E dress shoe and these boots are certainly wide enough in the toe box. This ideal seems to be a problem with most rubber boots being cut on the rather narrow side. Here in Virginia I hunted the entire Fall in these boots and never had cold feet. I realize we do not get that cold, but some mornings in the high teens-low twenties were not a problem in these boots. Easy on-Easy Off has spoiled me and my Danner Canadians have been relegated to dedicated "Rock-Hunting", where I spend most of the day climbing in the mountains in very rocky terrain. In reality these boots are as comfortable as my New Balance Running shoes!

I bought the 7mm last season and only was able to wear them for 2 sits. I wear a 10.5 in every boot/shoe and the 11's in the aero are so tight that I can only wear one light pair of socks. They were comfortable, but I couldn't wear them, because after 5 minutes my feet were sweating and never stopped. 30 degrees and wet feet just wasn't my thing. Feet never got cold, just hate wet feet. So, I've got a pair of 11 aeros in 7.5mm that have only been worn twice if anyone wants to by a pair. Your size should be 9.5 or 10 or these will be too tight.

What are the odds I got the only two pairs with issues? Got a pair a few months ago and wore them a hand full of times shed hunting, and turkey hunting. The inner lining (neoprene) behind both heals wore or came apart at a seam inside. Regardless it balled up and started creating a hot spot. Cabelas were great and sent a new pair asap. Wore the second pair for a whole two hours today and the inside of one boot is doing the same thing. I wear a 10.5 and ordered them in 11. Fit was great and all but these must have a design flaw. My son has the earlier version, style of these by Lacrosse and the inside feels more durable. May have to try a pair of those.

elkmo - interesting. I wore mine a lot this past week scouting and made the prediction if they fail it's going to fail behind the heel. Mine haven't failed yet but I can see it happening.

Well it happened. Not long after my previous post I was wearing my Aeroheads to drive fence stakes in some wet land. My right foot got wet - it was leaking back by the heel. In Sept I called LaCross customer service and talked to them about my problem. They authorized me to return the boots to them and told me to expect a 6-8 week turnaround time. Last week was 9 weeks and I called them again. The customer service rep looked me up and was surprised that I was still waiting. She did some more checking and said I could expect a replacement pair mid December, shipped overnight and were upgrading per my request to 7mm at no additional cost. OK, I was good with that. Well surprise - today UPS delivered my new 7mm aeroheads.
Thank you Lacross boots, I am a happy camper with no complaints.

I own a pair of the 7mm and while I love the fit and comfort, they are brutal to take off.
