Just to let you see a little of Kansas possibilities, these were taken Friday night. Flathead weighs 40#, bigger Buffalo are about 30#.

Saturday night, same lake. I would say which lake, but might get shot. Said they should have gotten their limit of catfish, but still some great eating.

You can shoot the Catfish in KS?

Yes, catfish have been legal at least the past couple years. Same limits as hook and line fishermen.
However not on all waters, be sure to check regulations before shooting. If it is under continual stocking or length limits, no shooting.

I don't have a picture of it yet, but they shot a 61 pound grass carp last Saturday night. A true monster.

Gotta love bowfishing. Bigheads are my favorite by far. Good eating as well.
