ANYBODY TRY THIS COMBINATION YET INTERESTED IN HOW IT DRAWS AND HOLDS, SHOOTS. I HAVE HAD A MR-7 FOR FOUR YEARS AND HAVE NEVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED. THANKS IN ADVANCE

What are Rock mods? I have a 2014 Chill R and dont know what you're talking about.

Rock mods are supposed to firm the back wall . Biggest complaint on Chill and ChillR is there is to much play in the back wall . You can get Rock mods for Chills and ChillRs. The ChillX comes standard with new rock mods . Rock mods are 20$-40$ depending on dealer . From what I have heard they are worth it . Mine should be here any day I hope !

Russell if you have no complaints and your happy I wouldn't worry about rock mods . I like my ChillR the way it was also but for 20$ if I can make it better I will try . I was shooting 27 1/2 in draw length I wanted to shorten dl. so I ordered 27 should be a little better for me .

Good advise. I'm all about tweaking my gear to make it better. Just not two months before a big hunt.

I love my Strother Rush, but I shot a Chill and it was pretty amazing and this was with the standard let-off.
If I was in the market for a new bow, I'd consider this this one for a test drive.

From what I understand the 75% Rock Mods add a few FPS as well but I haven't confirmed that.

This could be the one that makes me retire the MR-7 that I have shot so well with, now for a dipping to add color, disappointed that they due not offer in the blue smoke that I have. Lets here how it shoots when someone gets it together.

Yep, sold my MR7 this week. I hate to get rid of that bow but the CHILL X has everything and more IMO. The regular CHILL has been a great bow for me too.

I'm in Hawaii and was told 3 weeks. I know several shops on the mainland have them on the shelves already.

Got my 75% RockMods today and love them ! I am much more solid in my shot . Got them for Chill and ChillR and I like both . Both of these bows were 27 1/2 dl. I got the RockMods in 27in. I can already see a big difference !

I have the 85% rock mods on my chillr, I've only shot the bow once and is super smooth, and holds like an elite!

Just got my CHILL X in last week, 85% rock mods ordered for my CHILL as well.
