I'm a Alabama guy...no relation to TBM...however, I don't think most of you give him enough credit...WDE!! Just for Steve!! (It's ok..he'll know..)
I've recently become a resident of the state of Oregon... Now it took me a while to jump on the "expandable" board but I did after killing a few critters with the Grim Reapors..anyway..
Oregon doesn't allow expandables...so I've gotta go back to the best fixed blade head I've ever shot... The Aftershock Archery Maniac...
If I search it, it brings up some new crap...I'm posting some pics of some that's done the work for me, and asking if you guys have any..."new in the box", or know where I can pick up about 20 of'em I'd greatly appreciate it!!
Thanks, WDE!! Warren
I did that once when I moved from Kansas to Idaho...
Slick Trick standard or Shuttle T... Both are going to fly great and kill quick.
I loved expandables and still use them on occasion but fixed blades are now a main stake in my quiver.
Don't overthink it, just hunt hard and know your equipment.
All the best!
Yea Nick that's where I'm at...that's why I'm asking....I'm asking for what I know works best for me. Not knocking the ones you mentioned though!! Thanks!

Hey stick1,welcome to Oregon(Orygun)! No matter what broadhead you end up using you're going to love hunting here. It's such a diverse state that there's something for everyone. From the desert to alpine in the eastern half of the state,to farmland and dense forest in the western half.I'm sure you'll find something you're used to or be able to start a new adventure in. AS for myself I prefer Muzzy broadheads. They have always shot well for me and I get complete penetration nearly every time...And short blood trails. Again welcome to Oregon.Shoot staight and kill a big one!
QAD exodus, best fixed I have used.

I take you are using the wde as an excuse. Step up to the next level and get ya some RTR and go with the Simmons and show them ducks out there how it's done. I guess you have some bragging rights out there thanks for a he pay to play program. Find us good ole boys some elk out there and I'll come show ya the Simmons in action!!
Steve...Simmons are good heads, but I'm positive that any of that crap that comes from that other school in the state is next level thinking!;)
I'm gonna give it a good go! Been following your Newbie thread a good bit! Being on the ground here with'em now...you better listen to what everybody's telling you!
Thanks, Spike!! Appreciate it!
