Any of you from my great state? Always looking for new people to bowfish with.

From the pictures you are the state champ bow fisher and likely intimidate the other aspirants. :)
Those were some amazing fish you had.
Btw, I always thought buffalo was good eating. When you rate it mediocre and the gar highly, I really would like to try some gar.

What pictures? I went on the state forum too, and saw no bowfishing photos for Doug in the first few pages....

Jake, look at the Kansas site, under Texas Giants. I knew he shot a lot of fish, but these are huge!!!

Gar is great.
Hey Richard, why don't you stock some gator gar in that little pond in your front yard? :-)
I'm guessing they'd find those big bass kinda tasty, as well as those big geese swimming around, and any deer that stuck its face down to get a drink.

Those things are scary to think of in a pond of any size at all. Everytime a kid went missing I would have my suspicions. :)
Do not forget to ask about the North Lake Giant Catfish next time you visit.

Also I have pics on here under the bowfishing action topic. I aint no state champ or nothing but do love shooting tournaments. Have done well in them in the past. Someday I will find another great partner like my wife to share it with.
