It's not the brace height that matters, it's the diameter of your shaft.

Spine is important too, especially with broadheads

I've heard of all sorts of tricks to get an extra 1/4 in but not that one. I think my brace height is a little short but my wife tells me its perfect.

Would have been interesting if this had been incorporated into the HOW OLD ARE YOU thread.

From: scrapwood

It's not the brace height that matters, but if you can hold your draw long enough ...

From: Stekewood
22-Aug-14
I hear that the shorter the brace height is, the faster it shoots. A double whammy. :-)

From: trackman
22-Aug-14
So what if you have a short draw would it be enough ????

22-Aug-14
If shorter means faster...ha chi...I'm already done

8.25" on my '68 Super Kodiak, 8.5" on my '65 Kodiak, 8.25" on my ILF recurve, 6.25"-7" on my longbows

23-Aug-14
I have over 9"bh on my recurve. About 7" on my long bow. With a recurve I find a low bh is noisier.

From: Pintail

7" on the Centaur and 7 1/8" on the Shawnee. 8 3/4" on the Arroyo.

From: r-man

OMG this is funny. "How long is yours" for the title and I open the thread and the 1st post is by the handle loprofile and he say 8/14. LMAO

You have me beat dude. I have 7 1/2 inches. Brace height that is.

When my wife watches me shoot she tell me length doesn't really matter with your equipment but its rather how well you use it.

:o)

From: Bill in MI

My wife tells me that by today's "equipment" standards 6 1/2" is the new 7 1/2", so I got that goin for me...

From: bowhunter55
