Been nestled in fossil Summit Bushmaster climber since 4pm. Northern Connecticut River Valley. Light NNW wind. Acorns are popping. Saw plump doe in here yesterday @650pm - could never get good shot. She came from behind me.
Believe it or not there is a beat down trail in the middle of that mess(pic). They slither thru there like snakes. I'm positioned SE looking NW.

Nice job. I had a nice 8 at 12 yards with my xbow and no shot then he's coming down a run and just stops forever. One step and I have perfect 25 yards shot nope turns and walks away

Right in the middle of giving an update, I saw her head bobbing thru the leaves, coming straight at me while narfing down leaves each step of the way. Just as she gets to 5 yds, she quarters away. SlickTrick thru the heart and some lung. Heard her crash 30yds away. No more MLH curse for this guy lol
