I hunt Crawford Co. I have 38 acres there. been a sloooow start this year for me.

I did get him in south central WI.

Normally I wouldn't have been out much yet this early in the year, but a couple of big guys marched past my trail camera this summer and I couldn't contain my excitement, so I've been out a few times already, too. Haven't seen much, though, either.

There are so many acorns this year, it's crazy. I think having so much food laying everywhere in the woods is taking the deer off their usual flight patterns. Less than a month until November, though.....

I agree with you about the taxidermist. I took one to him the year before, also, and I think he did a great job on both.
