im a east coast whitetail hunter well ill be living in Alaska for 2 years with my wife and I plan on hunting a lot so I have some questions cause I have no idea. Do you put ice/dryice or nothing into your meat coolers? whats the weather like on brooks around last two weeks of aug? should I walk in and set up camp or would i be ok sleeping in truck off the road up there? how many spare tires and gas cans? I cant wait to get out there I know its prob gonna make me a addict.

I took a freezer and a generator. We saw warm temps, rain, sleet, and snow. We set up a camp near the road for a few days, hiked/rafted and did a fly out. I have 10 ply tires on my truck, brought one spare, 4 five gallon gas cans and two 35 gallon drums. Best of luck, Nick.
