Sorry I got pinned down by red tail hawk for an hour and couldn't move. He came soaring in perched on a limb 10 yards from me and just was squawking his head off for 20 mins straight. Also had something big come thru thick brush to my left but I only heard it 3 times then walked off. I never saw it but I know it was a deer

It's now 9:45am and I haven't seen a deer all morning. I was trying to stay off the phone as much as possible because the deer can really sneak up on you in here. Did some calling with the bleat can and I had a deer come in this morning around 8:45 but I never saw it. Not leaving woods yet. I don't feel like getting down yet.

I just had two small bobcat pups come out running around playing with each other in the thick brush. I got some great video of them. It was cool. Maybe they will come back out again

It's 2:25 I'm back in the woods. Waiting on a big mature buck to stroll by. Halloween is today and just thinking November starts tomorrow!! So I know the bucks will have to be on their feet more the next three weeks. Can't wait rut is almost here!!!

I love hunting in the thick stuff. Especially if you have a sneaky way in and out from your stand without disturbing. Bedded deer.
