Squirrels are excellent practice. Small target, and they never stay still for long. They taste great and come with built in toothpicks. Congrats

I do not shoot squirrels anymore during bow season. The primary reason is because they chatter when a deer walks by them, alerting me to its whereabouts. I can sit on one creek at my farm and know exactly when and where the deer are if they come up the other creek across the field.
