Hybrid longbow Zbow Help with arrows

Having problem with how noisy this bow is. I'm not sure why the only thing I can come up with is the arrows hitting the riser or maby my string needs some wax. The arrows are spined for my bow. I did shoot one that the field point fell off, it was a little quieter and flew pretty straight. If anyone's had any experience with these bows any help would be appreciated. Let me know what you shoot I'm 28.5 at 60# 68" poc arrows at 480gn and carbon fiber at 400gn. Thanks
don't know about your spine but your arrows are way to lite for a trad bow.
try at least 10 grains weight per # of draw.
A 400 grain arrow is too light for a 60# bow IMO. I shoot my longbows at about 10 gr per inch. A heavier arrow will quiet the bow but you also need the correct spine.
So 600gr arrow w/ fletched and nocked with a field point. I've been making my own arrows. Maby that'sthe problem haha. 11/32 maby i need to go up in shaft size to or use a heavier wood. Using cedar at the moment.
Another trick you can try is shoot the arrows cock feather in...for some reason it sometimes works.

Shooting 3 fingers under is typically more noisy than split fingers.
I usually shoot split fingers. I tried 3under yesterday. There's no difference in the noise factor.
Arrows too light. 600+ gr arrow and noise should be much, much better.
arrow spine has to be right as well as weight so arrow can bend around riser instead of banging off it.
You need a minimum of 10 grains of weight per # of draw. My arrows are 12.6 gpp (50# longbow and 630 grain arrows) and are whisper quiet coming off the bow. Try shooting Surewood Douglas Fir shafts. They have great mass weight and are much tougher than cedar shafts.
I don't know, not to disagree with others who know more, but I shoot 450 grain carbons out of all my R/D longbows at 57# and they are super- quiet, stable and fly flatter than my heavier arrows.
How is your brace height?
Check your brace height and adjust as necessary.
You should be able to shoot arrows ranging from 8-10 gpp and not have any noise issues related to arrow weight.
A couple of weeks ago I quieted down my recurve without changing arrow spine. I changed the brace height about a half inch, changed the string silencers and put pieces of bicycle inner tubes between the riser and td limbs - all tips from the Leatherwall. I could not be happier with the results. I think the brace height had the biggest effect.
Try, as an experiment, using a mechanical release.
If the noise goes away, you are having form/finger release issues.
If noise stays with the mechanical release, I would guess too much spine/ or too light an arrow.
Also, check out Two Feathers/Ghost's advise on brace height. You can twist the string to increase brace height.
Also, another quieting trick is to use a string that has Flemish Knots. 3 Rivers Archery sells these if you do not make your own strings.
I've owned a few stick bows that I never was able to get quiet enough to suit me. Sometimes two bows from the same bowyer can seem totally different
