I do not have the story telling abilities of many on Bowsite so I'll just do this in a few pictures! After seeing Forest get this buck in early season Clutch and I talked him into having us at his place! Had a great hunt and enjoyed spending time with Forest Bows!

Tks Forest for a great time n awesome buck-- this trip was the first time I met Forest--Forest knew I was on a Iowa and Missouri hunt n invited me to stop by on the way back, since I also had a Kansas license--I talked to Forest several times on the phone and texting--I was very excited when he invited me to hunt at his place and to share time with Charlie, on Charlie's quest for that big eight point--I really think I was invited only because I promised to bring some Cajun food ( chicken n seafood gumbo-- stuff pork loin--stuff debone chicken with shrimp dressing and crawfish-- boudin etc.) haha-- no matter what the reason for the invite, I certainly enjoyed Forest and Charlies company--- it was a bitter cold hunt that Charlie and I endured-- I arrowed my buck at 1:30pm and found him the next morning--thanks for the snow fall, we were able to track this buck until we decided to back down and wait till the morning-- it was a wise decision and we found him 100yds from where we stopped the eveng before--Thanks Forest and Kelly again for a great hunt at your place and hospitality -- Thanks Charlie for being a good friend--

Cityhunter: I talked with the Marine 4 or 5 nights while there. We are very lucky this country still has fine young men willing to serve! He was involved in quite a bit of heavy combat in Iraq! Honor to meet him! As Forest mentioned he has lots going on with work and family so he doesn't get to hunt a lot.
