Happy Thanksgiving everyone. 4.30 am and going to hit the shower and then the forest in z11. Most of my hunts have been afternoons...this is only my 4 th morning sit... heading to a stand where I have killed 3 deer from over the years.. i have ignored the stand for a few years and it has got pretry overgrown...but a recent lunchtime scouting trip showed the funnel still is being used ...hopefully history will repeat itself...still looking for the first deer of 2014...have been seeing them but haven't bloodied an arrow yet

All quiet so far...wearing just the right amount of layers...snug but not hot...someone is nailing ducks this morning. ..6 sets of firing so far....they gotta be having fun or are in a gun battle ;)
