can anyone tell me how the population in area 26 has faired over the past few years? I am going there next August and have heard numbers may be down. Thanks

Not sure about 26 but the units not far to the east are really struggling. Some of the ranchers are saying they have never seen so few antelope.

I would highly recommend contacting the Wyo G&F regional office that's responsible for that area and talking to the game biologist and game warden(s).

I have hunted #26 the last 3 years. Numbers have been declining every year. Still animals, however, just not the number as in the past. Ranch I hunt will not allow hunting of does and fawns this coming year.
