Fuzzy this hunt was at Recordbuck ranch Utpoia Texas, the place is insane,
Sounds like a great trip. What all do they have there? Nilgai?
They have everything under the sun, We probably saw 300 oryx alone on this hunt
awesome! it's on my bucket list
go get one Fuzzy good eats and great trophy
What happened with all the controversy about hunting them in TX? There was a group trying to protect them. They didn't realize ranchers wouldn't have them if nobody hunted em.
Great animal hope to get one myself one day.
Knife to sharp,
They overrulled (sp) the law so they can be hunted again along with addax and damma gazelle. Politicians figured out to protect the species it was better to hunt them, just like you mentioned
Yep and in that short time the value of them whent sky high but so did the herd they are neat animal for sure, I was watching a show this weekend at a Zoo the keeper was talking about the Damma almost exstinct not!
Nice ! When I had my lease in Central Texas, there were a bunch of them in a pasture where I turned off the main highway to go to my place. Had lots of elk in there too. I kept hoping for a hole in the fence ! :)
Drycreek I had a friend of mine kill an eland on his lease a few moths ago funny what you might see down there.
That is why I love Texas, it is like Africa, you just dont know what you are going to see.
